The Everest Region is one of the most popular regions in the world because of the world's highest peak, Mount Everest (8,848.86 m). The region is located in the Solukhumbu district of Koshi Province in Nepal. Its altitude ranges from 3,300 m to 8,848.86 m. The region is predominantly inhabited by the Sherpa and Kirat Kulung people. Regarding religion, Buddhism is predominant there.

People from around the world mostly visit to climb and witness the majestic view of Mount Everest.
