The Everest Region is one of the most popular regions in the world because of the world's highest peak, Mount Everest (8,848.86 m). The region is located in the Solukhumbu district of Koshi Province in Nepal. Its altitude ranges from 3,300 m to 8,848.86 m. The region is predominantly inhabited by the Sherpa and Kirat Kulung people. Regarding religion, Buddhism is predominant there.
People from around the world mostly visit to climb and witness the majestic view of Mount Everest. The Everest Base Camp Trek is famous in the region; besides that, the Gokyo Lake Trek and Pikey Peak Trek are also well-known. Trekkers have the opportunity to enjoy stunning views of the mountains, such as Ama Dablam (6,812 m), Mera Peak (6,476 m), Lhotse (8,516 m), Nuptse (7,861 m), and others alongside the world’s highest peak.
