Annapurna Region

The Annapurna Region is one of the famous regions situated in the Gandaki province of western Nepal. The region's name comes from the Annapurna mountain range, which has successfully drawn the attention of people around the world for more than a decade. The total land coverage of the region is 80 km2, stretching from the Marsyangdi River in the east to the Kali Gandaki River in the west.

Beautiful districts such as Kaski, Manang, Mustang, Tanahun, Baglung, Gorkha, Parbat, Syangja, Lamjung, and Myagdi are located in the region. The well-known mountains in the region include Annapurna I (8,091 m), Gangapurna (7,455 m), Machhapuchhre (6,993 m), Hiunchuli (6,441 m), and others. Moreover, there are several trekking trails in the region, including the Annapurna Base Camp Trek, Mardi Himal Trek, Poon Hill Trek, Annapurna Circuit Trek, Machhapuchhre Model Trek, Kori Trek, and Tilicho Base Camp Trek.
